Karate for Kids
Learn karate through fun and friendly instruction! Classes are scheduled by age and skill level (beginners from preschool to middle school are welcome); participating in two classes a week is recommended. In addition to learning karate techniques, improving physical fitness, and learning self-defense skills, students also build confidence, focus, respect, cooperation, resilience, and leadership skills as they work toward black belt.
Discover your inner martial artist: whether you’ve practiced karate or another martial art in the past, or you’re a beginner who has never been on the mat, TBK will help you achieve your goals. Adult classes are appropriate for teens to seniors (yes, seniors, we’ll keep you moving!); participating in two classes a week is recommended. In addition to learning the techniques and history of the ancient art of Tang Soo Do, you’ll also improve your strength and physical fitness, and learn practical self-defense skills that build confidence as you work toward black belt.
Celebrate your child’s birthday with a unique party that shares karate skills and keeps their friends engaged, moving, and happy. Parties include 1.5 hours of supervised games, activities, and challenges. Parents can be as hands-on or sit-back as they choose—and keep the chaos out of your house!
